Can anyone give me a picture that shows where the ecu ground wire is?

i need a picture of location of where the ecu grounding wire is on a 91 n/a

Pins 3A, 3B, 3C, and 3D are direct ground. If you're wanting to check to make sure it's grounded the easiest way, and more proper than just looking at a lug, is to check continuity between those pins and ground with an multi-meter. The connector containing those pins is the largest of the three. All four pins are at one end of the connector. Two are black/white, another is black, and the last is brown/black.

i need to know where the grounding point on the engine is.

The engine is not the ECU now is it?
There are three grounds I can think of off the top of my head. One is near the starter. There is one on the driver's side of the intake. And the other is on top of the trans and runs to the spade terminal on the firewall. |
main harness ground is underneath the upper intake... bolted down on the EGR valve. 2 black wires. you have to pull the upper intake off to get to it tho... not too hard.

Not on an S5. There's no EGR valve there. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

The center iron is blanked out where the EGR would go. I did mis-speak on the ground though. There is one that threads into the rear rotor housings through the rats nest. |
