i went through my haynes manual, they have nothing about it, the cpus just a small black box on teh drive side. i know i have lots of questions, but cant someone describe where it is? thanks a bunch.

 

The hayes manual does show it.

Its on the passenger side, under the carpet, near the firewall.

I thought it was down by the drivers feet, behind the kick panel to the left of the pedal box

 

its definatly under the carpet on the passengers side

 

its on the passenger side underneath the kickplate, the haynes manual said it was the emission control or something.

 

removed passenger footwell carpet, expose metal plate similar to the one on the fuel pump access door, remove bolts hit ecu with hammer

 

Ok, are you looking for the ECU, or the CPU? Thread title says "ECU, i cant seem to find it".



The CPU is at the drivers side kick plate near the fuse block and has FBxxxwhatever letering on it. It has the horn, flasher, signal relays, ect in it.

 

ah, i was confusing the CPU box with the ECU box
