I ordered mine off E-bay, guy by the name of Partzfinder.com

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISA...&sort=3&rows=50

He has them on there all the time, I ordered a 16" 2700cfm unit from him using the buy it now option, The fan is made by Zirg

16 ² Fan

Specs

CFM Push

2400-2700

CFM Pull

2200-2500

Dimensions

16² x 16.9² x 3.2²

Amps (push)

8.5 +-0.5 AMP

Amps (pull)

7.5 +-0.5 AMP

Volts

12

Fits my aftermarkt radiator perfectly and is about half the retail price, the only drawback is that you will have to fabricate the mounting for it, it comes with plastic holders for the fan, but nothing to weave it through the fan.

3.8L 90-94 Taurus fan. Works great, $35 at your local junk yard.

taurus fans seem to be the new thing. They fit perfect, and flow ALOT or air. And they are VERY cheap from junk yards.

First hand exerience:

Taurus fans are very strong, VERY loud, and eat every last amp of power you have. They run somewhere around 25-30amps continuous. The FC alt might not handle that very well.

These are the fans of choice for hotrodders running 400ci engines. Overkill for our use.
