well everyone the day has come. tomorrow the not so sleeper 7 will hit the rollers. what started out as a stock 89 gxl has now turned into a beast with the e big single big extended port monster . i originaly planed this thing to be a sleeper but that is no longer the case and the cat is out the bag so to say. the list of mods the car has over the past 5 years is extensive and with a price tag totaling in the low 40 grand area this thing is a expencive monster. i will post the low boost dyno sheet only and hope to have vids of the finall pass as well. i will not be tuning to full boost just yet do to the motor is still freash and my tuner is not avalible tomorrow so i am taking the keyboard in my own hands this go around. anyways wish me luck on a good pass.

results of yesturdays dyno session where both dissapointing and good all at the same time. my normal tuner could not make it to the session so i had to take the lap top into my own hands and since this was the first time i ever really tried to tune a turbo car i didnt want to wreck a very expencive engine. all i really wanted to do was find some bugs and work them out as well as get some drivabuility into the car and this i did well. i have a 6800 rpm rev limit right now and pulled off the boost controller and found i have a boost leak wich needs to be fixed. i will pin point that tomorrow when i take and smoke test the car. anyways the results are @ 6 psi 10.4a/f 6800rpm limit the car made 240whp 190wtq . now that was embarasing to me but again i only really wanted to work some bugs out anyways and what not. the car has a 12psi wg spring in it so with only making 6psi there is surly a problem inwich i will find and fix tomorrow. i also need to add a second fuel pump and surge tank as well as a second oil cooler.



i plan on goin back to the rollers very soon and this time having all the problems solved and with the second pump and what not will lay down the full boost at full rpm. the car sould be good to 10000rpm and 25 psi. i know max hp will be before 10k but the engine was built to pull the rpms to that high for what i want to do with the car. to sum it up



240whp 190wtq @ a very rich 6psi 10.4a/f with a 6800rpm limit





when finished , up to 10000 rpm @25psi 11.2a/f



hoping to compleat within 2 weeks time and then ill post results but for now this is what i bring you , a embarasing start but a good start to a beast .
