i have an 88 that i swaped in an s4 TII motor and tranny now my question is what drive shaft can i use to mate my tII trans to my n/a rear end. i remember somewhere that a auto. driveshaft works

Rob x-7 02-20-2006 11:54 AM

custom shaft

custom shaft, auto shaft is same as t2.

id say get a t2 shaft and have the n/a rear piece mated on, rather then the other way around.

Swap in a T2 rear and forget about the driveshaft issues. Using the NA rear is a handicap on the turbo motor when you go to make more power....

no kidding, instead of spending all that money on a driveshaft put it towards swapping the rear.

Hard to find sometimes.

I see them all the time, you can even get the axles from a rebuilder
