I did the sleepy eye thing for about 20 minutes, it looked cool. The roads on long island and NYC are so ****** bumpy that they just vibrated down. lol one was up and one was all the way down. An adjustable linkage would be the way to go. Send Jason@JT-Imports a PM and see if any "drifter" light kits are available.

Yea, we installed a headlight kit on our "crew miata" and it just uses a shorter bar w/ two smaller round lights...looks sweet as hell. I think a similiar setup may come out for the FCs soon

all you gotta do is install a switch in line with the wire that goes to the headlight fuse. turn the switch to the off position then turn the headlights on. they wont pop up until you flip the switch. just flip it on and then off quickly. continue doing this until you get the height you like. iv'e been running this on my car for over a year and have never had a problem

I swapped my headlight motors with rc servos. They allow me to "dial-a-hight" which is pritty neet. the only thing is that you have to get the heavy duty ones. you will also need some parts from radioshack (such as a 556 and various resistors & capacitors).

p.s. they also weigh only a pound, so they are lighter than stock.

Last time I bought a ehavy duty servo for my 1/8 scale buggy it costed me $150.. so I think I would rather make shorter bar..
