It wasn't just that drag racing. I been over revving my car a lot before that, usally taking it to 8k everytime at the track. Then after i put in my 9k tach from an 89 and didnt' realize i was taking it to 9k then. Part of it is my fault for over revving.

Don't worry i have the rev limmiter set at 7k now.

For the next rebuild you could try getting upgraded stationary gears and bearings. You could try the race bearings that RB sells for the rotors. There's a little bit more to do, but you'll be able to go to 9K no problem.
