It can be a little bit of a pain in the ***. It is only held in by 2 nuts, but you have to disconnect the 2 rods (one for door latch, one for lock), and that was a pain the first time. You also have to swap over the wires from the old handle, so make a mental note on how they are run. Now that I've had practice, I can easily do it in under 1/2 hour.

I have gone through 2 sets of door handles for each side of my 2nd gen and just recently my lock froze on the drivers side

After reading this topic, I will pick up another set of handles and get them painted to match and pack them away.

mine broke and i think i have another going to have to come

for \some reason i can feel it going withihn a month or 2



i should buy a NEW one before i get a my car repainted when i get my ody kit



i dont waa have a mismatching door handle

like my boy nick (Apex13B) call it the Hitachi HandShake . i never heard of that but i think its funny. They brake off cause u have to always hold them up when u close em and then u can literally ripped them out.

people neeed to get pwer door locks that comes with a normal alarm system now a days



i think that will make a huge difference
