So i've replaced the alt belt.... twice now.... and the airpump once and the a/c belt once ( a ton of money going into belts alone) does anyone know if there is a reason why i am breaking all these belts? and if so how can i change this... now i just replaced the altranator, hoping that the pulley on it was bad or somthing or it was freezing up and it doesn't seem to any worse... but we will see in prob. another two weeks or 200 miles or so.... or somthin like that.

use a straight edge to check the pulley alignment like tomsGTR said. the belts dont need to guitar string tight. a little slop is ok

use goodyear belts

yes i know that the belts dont need to be tight but it seems like they are Way to loose somtimes so i tighten them down just enough to where they dont feel like there gonna fall off upon start up... and where might i find one of these serpentine belts

I only have one belt just the alternator belt, I've had the best luck with Gates High Performance Belts, they're completely smooth inside and out and slightly skinnier.
