Hi all,

Got done replacing my cats this weekend with the down pipe and pre-silencer. Didn't do the header thing since I've read on here it would be loud enough without it, plus another manufacturer site said a header wouldn't help the HP without redoing the intake system, etc.

The instructions made it sound like the cats could be replaced without dropping the whole rear exhaust, but I couldn't do it without dismantling everything. Is there a way?

I also noticed the mufflers said "Midas". Didn't think much about it till I started it up again and it's waaaaaaaay too quiet still. Not looking for ear-splitting, but I was defintely trying for loud. Now instead of hearing nothing but stuff from the engine bay, it sounds like one of the "throatier" factory exhausts on a performance car. Guess I'll have to spring for one of the cat back syustems next. I think each one of those Midas mufflers on there would be enough for any regular car.

If you want duals still, get the Dynomax. You'll like the way it sounds.

Do you guys have an audio clip of your cars exhaust or one with the RB mufflers? I keep debating about getting that system when I get the money together. I was going to put my system now on my 86 since the stock is leaking and starting to rust out.

Well, mine is a TII so it would sound a tad different.

Bigtime, post up a clip of your CS exhaust if you can, that must be hella loud!

If I get it running in the near future I will record it... But I don't know when that will be since it's been ******* crazy cold here!
