I just went to the junkyard to get a driveshaft so I could get my shiat back on the road until I can get a Mazdatrix driveshaft or have my original one rebuilt.

Everything looked the same BUT the one I originally had was pretty stout looking (about 3" OD) and the one at the yard was pretty skinny (about 2.25" OD)

The length and everything is the same...what's the difference?

The thicker one is for a TII.

Before I got the car it must have had a T2 driveshaft put in it then...
