this is really weird. i took my car to shop to get looked at a week ago and the idle was around 850 or 900 than when i got it back it was around 1200 rpm and now its back down to around 1000. i thought that was kinda weird.

 

does any one else know how to check for vaccum leaks?

 

You can go around the engine listening for hissing sounds, or use some starter fluid or something similar and put it on vac lines or anything else that might possibly leak. If the idle goes up when spraying youve found a vac leak.
