Dash cooperation

If i get an S5 turbo II enigne with the ecu, and the total swap with the wiring harness. will the S4 dash work with and S5 engine because i did a search and people were second guessing some peoples posts. thanks

Who said the dash wouldn't work? It shouldn't be a problem at all.

Are you using a s5 ECU? If you are you need to get the S5 underdash harness, unless you want to rewire your entire car.

And you need the gauge cluster too. You mey want to think about going EMS.

the actual plastic dashboard is the same. all the wiring is different though

how hard is the wiring part with the separate dash harness, i just want to know what im getting myself into... and about ems i dont have that big of a budget. just like 3 grand

I did the swap, the entire swap...S4 car w/ S5 everything else. You will need to rewire your dash and you do need the newer cluster. Just the way it is...it's a big PIA and I highly recommend to go EMS first off... put aside a grand or so for one....
