if your remelting the solder you might as well change out all teh components. when i opened my clock/idiot light i noticed that a row of resistors was toast. I took a ohmeter and checked it and got infinite resistance.
I just took my clock/idiot module to an electronics shop and asked for 1 of every single component on the thing... came out to under 15 bucks cdn for me ... and i spent 1 day swaping old electronic cripsy components for new ones. btw remove the flux after soldering... spray the board with contact cleaner... flux is corrosive |
yeah and spray it with some electronic clear too if you want that way corrosion will definately not be present..

HAHA mine goes on and off when I hit bumps. If it bang the dash with my fist it will go on. Doesn't seam to keep track of time properly either.
