On the subject of Transmissions. Mine is real whiny! lol



I think the syncros are starting to go bad. Just because every gear makes alot of noise



How much would a simple rebuilt cost?





I remember when i first bought it. 3rd gear would grind no matter what i did



Than i tried Clutchless driving (Rpm shift matching) for about a week



It finally went away! Lol, so basically i need to know how much a rebuilt on my tranny (215,000 miles) would cost.

Tranny has 104,000 miles on it. Out of the totaled 86 Sport I am parting out.

by rebuilding a tranny its just the same thing a just buying a nice rebuilt one from a store online

prolly a lot more for rebuilding actually

I can easily put a NA tranny my self if hte car is on a lift, right rotarychainsaw



I can put a TII tranny to but need alittle help just to get it off the ground.

but will does a online one offer a warranty like a local would?

2 years 24,000 mile warranty from my local guy.

I got a n/a tranny out of an 88, make an offer, shipping might bite ya in the *** tho.....got a new* driveshaft u can have with it......







* - Still has sticker on it, some use....

umm actually i was just lookin at this rotary site that gives the same 2 year warranty an u dont have to wait nothing
