k, so.

basically.

I just swapped my good motor into a new shell.

and its getting spark, and when i pulled the return fuel line fuel shot everywhere, so i'd assume it has both fuel and spark.

and it'll crank, but never fire up.

pulled the plugs and checked them but they werent fouled or flooded out.

have cranked sans EGI fuse on many seperate attempts to make sure its not flooded.

could i have forgot to connect something thats important to actually injecting gas?

seriously? i hooked them up like i saw in the FSM diagram. i didnt check the pressure side to see if it had fuel though, i figured one blast of gasoline was enough. Which rail is the fuel feed line supposed to go to?

The line coming out of the regulator on top is the return, so it needs to go in the bottom. I got rid of my vacuum rack and got things backwards.

also check your engine harness ground.. plus the main ground.. engine harness ground is located under the plenum.. if the ground is not properly grounded.. injectors will not fire..

the engine harness was swapped over with the engine, so it's ground should still be there. But it cant hurt to check.

ok. should not be a problem.. then take a look at the main ground.. do the wiggle test.. try to wiggle it and make sure it does not move.. that ground cable is located behind the oil filter.. engine bolt goes through it..

Did you plug the AFM back in? I forgot that this spring. It would fire for a second than stall out and back fire as I laid more gas pedal in to try to save it.

It was also flooded after sitting the winter... I'd pull the plugs, pull the EGI fuse and just crank it over to make sure you clear the chamber. You never know...

Put a dash of premix or whatever motor oil you have into the spark plug holes. Reinstall spark plugs. Reinstall wires. Put EGI fuse in. Crank it... see if she will catch at all.

did the switcharoo of the fuel lines, and fiddled with the afm a little, and she started right up. then let the air bubbles out of the coolant system. Still got a few small things to do, but im happy its running.

thanks guys
