Just out of curiosity would having a CR box (1- 2.35:1, 2- 1.55:1, 3- 1.24:1, 4- 1:1, 5- 0.88:1) make a N/A Street car (Full 6 port BP) really slow off the line?

first is gonna take a tad longer, but everything else is faster

The stock ratios are 3.475 2.002 1.366 1.000 .711



Thats a big difference in 1st and 2nd. The car will feel like youre trying to take off in 2nd with a stock tranny unless you get an aftermarket ring and pinion, like 4.88 or 5.12 ratio.

How well would those ratios work with a TII? Longer gears = more time at high boost??

longer gears = less mechanical advantage and also makes it harder to take off from a stop.
