Right. It's all about what you want to draw attention to. IE: In a offroad vehicle/atv ad, it would put more attention on the location and terrain the vehicle's tackling to convey a sense of power. For an econobox, you would have a big nature theme going for the photos. For a sports car, you would make the car really stand out like a black car with white backdrop or red car with blue, etc.
