acetone or laquer thinner will do the job. If it doesnt come off right away

you can use it with a piece of scotchbrite, you probably have some around the

house if your mom has one of those sponges with the green scothbrite on one

side and a sponge on the other.



You can also try a SOS pad, it will even brighten up the manifold being

its bare aluminum.

Man, with all the work you are doing, you should go buy a wire brush or two for a drill, and wire brush the UIM/LIM. It makes it look so much nicer. I did this on my car. it is well worth the few hours spent doing it.
