metal fenders to fit the car. on the other hand though you could do some bodywork on the fenders to have them look perfect |

who ever said body filler has to be redone every few years? maybe if your trying to fill in where the body molding used to be, or your putting it on the bumpers to fill **** in, but on fiberglass parts there is nothing wrong with some body filler. if its THAT much out of wack you could trim and reglass, or you could move the mounting points, there are a number of ways to get them to work. perfectly straight show cars are made one way- properly applying and sanding bodyfiller from one end of the car to the other, its the only way to get a car perfectly straight. |

Probably if you just layed fibreglass over the door handle hole and then smoothed it over with bondo, yeah, you would. That's a big hole. You should weld it then smooth/sand it, then fill the tiny imperfections with bondo.
and putting body filler on fiberglass fenders versus metal parts is a whole different ball game. |
