there shouldnt be water anywhere. the generally leak at the front edge/corner on the driver side. also check behind the seats to see if the carpet is wet.

if you have a vert that doesnt leak you should go play the lottery

they leaked brand new

look behind the seats for ponding, the pocket drains in a hose

and it comes out the bottom of the car, normal for there to be a tear

there, if not then its got a good top.

check the left side of the trunk as well as the deep well right in the

back of the trunk

bargain it down if he doesnt have the targa top bag and the boot

the corner of the top. also the tubes from the pouch things can get clogged up and cause them to leak. if you take the cover off of the back like where the spare wheel should be you should be able to find the tubes.

whats the average price for these items?

speaking of pools of water behind the seats. went to look for something in my FB and there behind the pass seat was like 2 inches of water...that sucks. time to part it out.

new- forget about it, the boot alone is something like $900

OEM.

There is a guy who sells bad aftermarket ones on ebay and he normally

gets like $250 or so for a new boot, I have a extra original

Mazda one.

The targa cover very rarely goes up for sale, dont even know what

kind of number to put on them, honestly if it was me selling the

car I would just inform the person I did not have it and

wouldnt budge on the price of the car, the price of the car should

already reflect the overall condition of the car and if it has those

items or not, but you can give it a shot
