compression question
#1
i finally got around to doing a compression test and the needle on the gauge wasnt hitting anything higher than a uniform 90 psi on both rotors. its supposed to have 3mm seals in it, and from what ive heard those dont seal quite as well.
does this sound about normal?

Ok dude, that's low for that mileage, even if it is a turbo. Do you know who rebuilt it or is it a j-sec? Yes it would be more accurate with a mazda tester. How are you testing by the way? Are you just holding down the release button. If so, you will get lower readings. Also try and check it in the leading plug hole not trailing. Finally, don't hold the button down and tell us what the max compression is after 3 pulses.
