I almost painted it black, but thank god nick helped convince me not to. I love the color.

The charcoal grey is actually called Gun Metal, at least that is what Mazda Japan calls it. The reason you see more red cars are because red is the number one color on the US market. Red and blue being the most common US colors. In Japan the most popular were the Gun Metal and blue. You don't see a lot of red cars here for some reason.

the charcoal grey is "tornado silver"
