I want to remove the oem air intake and replace with a cold air induction system, but what do I do with the hose that runs from the bottom of the filter housing to the air pump?

I am also having nine kinds of hell replacing the power antenna. I have the new one but how do you rewind the cord back into the motor? I have a RX7 repair manual and it does not even mention how to replace the antenna mast. Now I have parts everywhere and a graphite mess, this is pissin me off.

you kneed to buy a breather filter that will fit to go to the air pump i believe....that hose just goes below the filter in the air box to draw clean air. You can buy those little breather filters at Schucks i think. If its an s4...ditch that air pump and gut your cat.

Looks like a little baby cone intake. I also recommend gutting the cats and removing the air pump. I did that and stuck the little breater right where the air pump hose ran. Looked really weird. Then one day, I popped the hood and it was gone

Yeah, I know, but it's not that big of a deal to me heh. Not like the air's going anywhere now, I don't even have the pipe that ran to the cat. I just took it all off.

What will make it an s4 or s5? And, I can completely remove the air pump without modifying anything else?

The antenna can be kind of a pain in the ***. I ditched mine for a little rubber one and it works great. I am not sure I understand what you mean about the antenna, but if you are trying to get the motor to work on the new one why not try plugging it in to the car and turning the radio on off, that should get it to reel in. Good luck.
