I've never heard a good word about centerforce. I've heard of some dangerous things happening with them though.
ACT seems to be the top notch company for clutches. a puck clutch will be like a light switch on a DD. it will either be engaged, or disengaged. irritating as hell, and dangerous on wet roads. Wait till the first time you need to make a turn, while taking off from a stoplight, in the rain.... heh... |
whats the difference between sprung and unsprung?

sprung allows you to ride the clutch, unsprung is like off/on, and in reverse really sucks monkey testes. and like venom said in the rain would be brutal.

[snapback]699310[/snapback] [/quote] yeah. I drove a 92 rustang for a few months with a supercharged 351 and a 5 speed, unsprung 6(I think) puck clutch. not fun on wet days. I came close to getting in so many accidents that I lost count. |

I have heard things and seen things with centerforce clutches that have made me never want to get one. Like slinging to peices and lodging 3" longs chunks in the tranny tunnel guard.... |
