After reassembling my car, firing it up, and running around the block - it's great! New exhaust sounds good and flows well, TB mod is noticable and the car still idles fine, air pump/emisions removed... the car has loads more power, and runs great.

So I took off to go play in the snow. And blew out the damn clutch cable. This is the 4th one I've been through (okay, so i've had the car over a decade - 4 cables in 12 years aint bad, but...). It had a slow leak after the last complete rebuild i did - I rebuilt the master and slave, and replaced the cable but it still had to be topped off once a month.

Anyone have any experience with the SS braided replacement line? Do they replace the hard line and the hose between the master and slave, or just the hose? I'm planning on replacing the master and slave an trying the braided line, but wanted some feedback as to whether or not the line was worth it.

I say it's worth it, because it costs just the same as a new stock hose (if not a bit less). It replaces the rubber piece between the slave and hard line that comes from the master.

with the rubber line you have to make sure when it goes back on its not twisted, if it is it will fail.



put the slave cylinder end on first, then the master end
