Does anyone have good ideas on cleaning the engine and the bay I don't want to be able to eat off of it or anything but clean it and make it look nice enough to take pictures of it.https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

degreaser---> steam clean---->armoral

Steam clean huh? that sounds like a good idea. But i wonder how that will affect my paint. Can't be worse than the heat produced by the engine right?

Lucky you how long did it take you when you did it and how clean was it after.
HAve you ever sprayed it with WD40 to make it look nice. I have and it looks good but a friend of mine took it one step further and sprayed clear coat enamel and it always looks clean and makes it a lil easier to clean after. i just need to cover my carb before i do it. |
it looked better i can't really remember how much, i did it a long time ago. I just had it painted under there though, so if u want https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bling.gif ur gonna have to go that route!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

we steam clean the car top to bottom, it makes a huge difference.
you want to use good soap, and hot water (a regular pressure washer hooked up to the water heater/ hot water works great) mike |
I usually just throw on some simple green and spray with high pressure water. Seems to work pretty well. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
