Well, digging through the pile of stuff i come across what looks to be some custom made tank / oil cooler? I'll post the pics and see if you guys know what these are. Hayes rotary said these would actually work WORSE than stock, but then why did someone take the time to custom build them? The larger of the 2 actually has some races won etched in the top with a scribe.

Says "#18 #15 2/01 19 lbs".

Also, if anyone recognizes them I wonder if they'd work good in my system. I'll post some pics of my intercooler too. I'm finally getting my engine built , taking all the parts down to Rob at Pineapple racing coming next Monday/ Tuesday and I'll see how much for a street ported TII engine. I have brand new housings, a bunch of internal engine parts (new oil pump, chain, gaskets etc) and i had some rotors out of an ebay TII milled to fit 3mm apex seals and ceramic coated. The Intercooler is a Greddy FMIC from mazdatrix, and the turbo is the black porcelain coated TO4 with greddy manifold from my previous post. I have a Power FC/commander (1300 bucks, ouch ) but am short a S5 TII wiring harness (if anyone has email me and i might pick it up from you brownsc17@hotmail.com or contact me at that address on msn). Once i get the engine built and this whole basketcase installed I'll take some pics and maybe get some vids of it running for you guys.

I've spent more money than the car is worth on all this stuff so i'm past the point of no return now and excited to get the car running, but back to the aluminum boxes, anyone recognize these?

Also, what kind of a power output do you guys expect I'll be getting? I have the T04 turbo, HUGE FMIC, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Power FC ECU/ Commander, don't know what injectors to run yet, also will have no emissions equip, and electric fan on radiator, along with no cat in a full through racing beat exhaust ending in the dual powerpulse mufflers, aluminum flywheel from racingbeat, centerforce clutch (200 percent clamping power) along with a bunch of other stuff that I can't think of off the top of my head.

I'm having pineapple racing do an aggressive street port as well. If i need to put any more info just ask and i'll respond, i have boxes and boxes and boxes of parts for this car.

Which turbo do you have and how much boost? A lot of the power is going to depend on tuning. Also that looks like a cheap SSA exhaust manifold, and why the previous owner is using an on-center turbine housing is beyond me...

The exhaust manifold is a Greddy, fits the T04 Turbo. The turbo is a Garrett T04, don't know a whole lot other than that. One side measured 5" and the other measured 3". The manifold was expensive. As for boost I plan on at least 12 lbs of boost, maybe more towards 20. I'll see how much pineapple says is safe to run.
