I don't know why everyone has such a problem with V8's in RX-7's. It was innovative idea before the popularity of large turbos and standalone ECU's. Back in the day it was tough for the average Joe to get rotaries to make ALOT of HP.

yeah that was before and this is now (where people know how to utilize the engine and make almost the same amount of power as a v6 and a mild v8) i dont have a problem w/ it. i just dont understand it.

Man, that's because you've found good resources, etc. There are alot of people who buy these things and have no clue, with nobody to help them out. So they try what's familiar. It's the same as me wanting to put a rotary in a piston car. I would like it better because I'm more familiar with it.
