Chagned Water Pump
#4
Well, other than unbolting the waterpump and replaceing it... did you change or remove anything else around the motor? maybe you unplugged something? or knocked something loose. just go thru and check all connections...
Does the car sound like it wants to start? what is it doing? does it turn over but not catch? explain further...

Under the hood you'll find a fuse box (located on the drivers side shock tower)... open that box up and it will reveil several fuses, see one marked EGI COMP? Remove that fuse... set it aside, go inside your car and press the gas pedel to the floor. DO NOT PUMP THE PEDAL.. While holding the pedal to the floor turn the key and let the starter turn for about 10 seconds.. you'll notice your tachomater will not function during this..
After you've done the above mentioned, replace the fuse.. get back in the car KEEP YOUR FOOT OFF GAS PEDAL this time... start the car.
If it does not start, try this 2 or 3 more times... after that you've messed something up.. and i would have to get alittle more info on trying to get your car started.

do the unflood proceedure again... but right when it starts, keep it running! Once it fires up hold the pedal, get the RPM's up to about 3000 and hold them there until it will idle on it's own. than take her out for a spin. Remember rotary's dont like to be cold started than shut off right away. Example.. moving from garage to driveway, if your going to move it and the engine is cold from sitting, you'll need to drive it for ATLEAST 5 min to get the coolant flowing thru the throttle body/engine. So, do the unflooding again, keep it running and take her for a spin. when you get back, check for leaks from the waterpump/coolant housing area.
