Thumbs up

There used to be a couple of rotary mechanics around Manassas, Va. Not sure if they are still in the area. Does anyone here have knowledge of rotary garages in Roanoke, Charlottesville or towards Richmond? My weekend toy will need an engine soon. She's at 115,000, runs pretty good but has little compression. The blue smog fog I blow out for 10 minutes after sitting for about a month tells me the end is near wouldn't you say?

I'm from VA and RP Performance is still in Manassas VA off of Euclid Ave. I used to spend a lot of time down there, but the owner doesn't like my car because it gave him a lot of headaches and he didn't treat my vehicle with any respect leaving used car parts in my otherwise MINT interior... anyway...

Thats the only one I've got experience with... I have heard of a few others around, but none are highly qualified to do decent work.

I would look into KDR in PA... if you're not in a rush they'll get you done right.. great service and great reputation. I do all of my own stuff now, but back about 6-7 years ago.. they were the best in the area..
