Weber is a 2 barrel. If you go with a Weber there are side draft (IDE) and down draft (DCO) as the two main styles. These are really the best style of carb if performance is your goal, but a 4 barrel like the Holley is better if you are going for drivability.

I know you said you were positive you had the fuel hoses correct, but have you tried swapping them around just to see what happens?

i flipped fuel lines nothing i was right the 1st time and as for fuel pump it works fine however im getting close so i may not carb it ....basically i thnk it may have needed premixed as well as another ground to the fuel pump b/c the pressure is fine till i try to start the car and then boom it drops so it may not be getting engouh power to it ....but i took it to the only guy i trust when i comes to that car and the rest of my babies so im hoping she gets fixed or i will be carbing it ....yes i will be selling all manifolds...in fact i have 2 sets not including the one you sold me baldy....lol so anyone want them make me an offer and i can paint them any color and port them however i will not polish them b/c i feel that should be done at a very good shop and not by me ...although i have been porting for a long time

Temporarily wire your fuel pump directly to a 12 volt source.
