How do you tell if any of your seals are broken when your car is not started? And does anybody know if you roll start the car that the seals build back all the compression they lost? Because I think one of the seals are messed up because when I try starting it, all it does is crank and sounds like it sparks the gas, but it does not crank. Can anybody help me?

If the car is flooded real bad it can be a big PITA to start. The best way is to pull the plugs, clean them real good. Re-install them. Find the conector for your fuel pump, and unplug that. Leaving the pump unplugged turn it over with the EGI fuse plugged in. I ended up wiring up a switch to my fuel pump because it would flood real bad.

where is the plug to the fuel pump? my car is doing th esame thing. My boost controller is showing the injector % when turning the engine is 85-100%. It should only be 9 or something right? the car gets so close to starting, but doesn't. i'm getting so frustrated.

Look under the carpet in the hatch. You'll see the wires coming from the fuel pump. Follow the wires. They run up to the strut tower. The plug should be about half way up the strut tower.

So I tried to pull start this car and it did not work. I can put it in gear and let go of the clutch and it jumps but does not start. I can not figure out how to start this damn thing because it is kind of aggrevating. I need some help someone? I am kinda new at this rotor engine too, so I could be missing the basics. And for some reason the trailing spark plugs always get this black gas on them, but the leading ones don't.

Could the exhaust have anything to do with running, because mine is badly messed up and when it smokes, it has this smooth smoke line come out of the exhaust.

Damn, you have a lot of probs.. so you tried every possible unflooding procedure and your plugs still have gas on them? Are you sure you have spark? Did you check the compression at all? no use wasting your time if the engine is gone... hopefully not but worth a check

Yes it has spark because i took the spark plugs out and put them on the side fender and hooked them up and the shocked the crap out of me! So how do you tell if the motor is gone anyway? Plus I might have to check some other things because someone told me it might be the MAS under the intake.
