ok so last night i start up my car because i just got the new thermostat in, make sure there wasnt any leaks... idles just fine right at 500-750 rpms... i go to start it this after noon, didnt let it warm up, but just drove it down the driveway and into the garage... i fixed my lines that i needed to in my garage, and started it back up.. let it warmed up..., then it was still sitting at 2k?? what could cause this?? awhile back my engine use to loop, but then it fixed itself, maybe its coming back?. GRR!!!

 

Then if thats not enough, i have a small leak (only when the engine is on) coming from the oil pan... i just filled it up with oil ( not too much ) checked the oil, sits perfectly at the FULL bar.. it has never done this before...
