Car gave me a scare
#1
Okay, so my car still has this same problem. used to (in the past month or so), when i would start my car after it had set for a while (a few days), and it would hesitate during idle. i would give it gas, it would not rev, but hesitated. After a few pumps of the throttle, it would get going good.
so today, before church, it started fine, even though a cold front has come through and it's like 55 deg. well afterward, like an hour and a half after i drove it, i started it again to go home, and it was fine. so im driving it and it started puttering. it give it gas, it doesn't go. I slow down, shift into 1st, and really doesn't go. so I pull over and into an apartment complex, park, give it some gas, and it sputters like the engine is blown. here i am in college station, 180 mi from my mechanic, and this happens. so i turn it off and start thinking of ideas, while the turbo timer runs. just for grins, i give it gas, and it revs up like new. i put the key back in, turn off the timer, and drive home. It then drove home purfect.
So i ask, what's the deal? air in the fuel lines, bad injectors, what. that's what it feels like since when i rev it, it feels like sputtery like there isn't enough fuel or something.

It could be that. Have you changed your fuel filter lately? It also could be the TPS. Try doing a full tune up. Plugs, wires, oil/filter, fuel filter and air filter, after all this if it keeps doing the same thing take it to your mechanic.
