did it smell like coolant?

if it smells like fuel.. perhaps its flooded..

You could have a blown apex seal and that is leading to low compression. I would check the compression in each chamber. It should be above 90 on each chamber.

it smells a little like fuel i took the spark plugs out and they look new two look brand new just wet and the other two look new but used

so im going to check for a spark tomorrow morning on all four leads

i hope its not a seal:blink:

thanks for the info so far

Have you in fact gone through the "unflooding procedure?" If not, do it!

the way the person who rebuilt my engine told me to deflood was stupid easy i was surprised(this goes for an s4 idk if its the same on an s5) pull the top 2 fuses get in your car crank for 10 3 times put fuses back floor it and crank until starts large amount of smoke for a couple seconds but runs fine in less than a minute

Yeah, that's about right. I used to have to do that everytime I stopped for fuel. I'm not sure if the fix was the cleaned injectors or the Haltech ECU, or a combination of both, but it doesn't do it anymore.

BTW, the way I did it was floor it while cranking with the fuses out, then starting normally.
