Is there any way to tell if a RX came from cali with out doing a carfax report. My friend just got a 91 and all the maintance records in the glove box are from cali. thanks for the info

Hows he holding up w/ that '91 anyways? Hasn't hurt himself or the car yet I hope, lol.

So far so good. I just got off the phone with him though and for some reason the car wont rev over 2k ? I never had a problem like that with my GXL any ideas just incase its a 91 non-turbo

Will it go over 2K at all? It COULD be the cats, but that car didnt have much mileage....maybe intake? Dunno...

if you look on the passenger side firewall there is a wierd bottle under the cruise control on every car except the california ones.

for the 2k hesitation check the codes it might have one in there, if not its a good place to start
