hey thanks aggie that really helps.

What would you say by the car with the engine already swap, attempt it myself, get it done at a shop.

i know ill learn alot more doing it myself and i know it will be alot of work but i would prefer it. Buying the car with the engine already swaped should be about the same price?

which would you choose

swap what into it?

krazykoncepts 08-05-2003 01:30 AM

well the more power the better but for my price range the stock turbo is about my only option

I dont get what your asking.

well am i better off buying a 7 that needs a lot of work or buy a 7 with the work already done to it. Eg bodywork, engine, interior etc

I would buy the car, then rebuild it yourself. That way, you can choose the builder, and choose whatever compenents or porting that you want. When buying an already-rebuilt one, there's no way to know for sure what's inside there, unless you take the thing apart.

buy the car that is in good condition

oh i c... myself my $365 dollor project was a car that i found in a driveway of an elderly lady that i picked up for $300 but she didn't have the title so i had to pay another 65 so i go and we try to start it to bring it home and it wont start so we toe it home and it ends up being an all summer project.... from new fuel tank... new brake calipers and rotors... new sun roof and soon to be a new (but used) exhaust system. and i've put about a grand into it ontop of the 365 i paid. but its been fun and i've always been looking for a project like this and i'm fotunate to have an S4 T2 as my first car.... still not on the road https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png
