Did they ever make the 2nd gen rear seats in the factory burgundy color? If Mazda did make them, where would you recommend searching for these?

Yes, they made them in the series iv edition I believe. Those are the 86-88 years. They came in cloth and leather. I have a friend who has a leather rear seat. I don't know if he'll part with it, MikeL out of Baton Rouge. You might want to try him on the TeamFC3s site.

Otherwise, the junkyards are the place to look. They aren't common, but not hard to find either.
