Ok can any one give me any advise as as to what to do to prep an engine solly for N2O? Im going to make my FC my lasting project so as we speak im saving to buy a mazda reman engine. Is there anything that you guys would recomend to have done to my engine? Does a street port affect engine life under normal driving conditions? Would putting hardened stationary gears make a worthwhile addition for the type of engine im looking for?

one more question FC3S.org is selling their reman engines with the cryogenic treatment as an option does any one think this is worth it at $100 per rotor housing? And im also thinking of going ahead and bumping up to S5 rotors. also has any one done or heard of porting out the manifolds? would this help in any way?

It's a crapshoot anywhere you go really. It depends on who is building the engine. Most builders will do a good job, but some of them employ people who don't care quite as much. Best advice: If you want something done right, do it yourself. No one is going to take the care and effort that you will, so get in there, get dirty, and do it yourself!

N20 is like boost, shoves more air into the engine.

Pineapple Racing ( www.pineappleracing.com ) has been good to me. Ask for the owner Rob, he knows a lot about nitrous on rotaries. They're expensive, but high quality and have a great warranty.

getting a hold of ito is like winning the lottery, chances of communicating 1 in 10,000,000 LOL.



I want to build for N2O cause when your off N2O you are not affecting the reliability of the car, it is for those 13 seconds of less that im free LOL. I like turbo but in miami even with a FMIC and water injection the intake temps on a 100degree day would go thourgh the roof. and on top of that N2O feels good. Any one know if going turbo would be cheaper? I know if i get a turbo motor I need a haltech and a bunch of other **** that would break the bank.

You would need a spark/timing retard system and better ignition to start. The Venom kits seem to be the best when it comes to street cars. Give them a call and see what else you would need. My experience with nitrous is limited to land speed record applications, which need to last for about 45sec. and then bang (305mph). All we did was run a timing retard system as each of the 4 stages came online, similar to boost proportional timing curves
