I can tell you that adding a resistor will not change the pulse length in any manner (it's the ECU's task). At most, it will help to keep the waveform more square but slower response. The resistor is for impedance adaptation with the ECU and to limit the current through the injector and ECU when the impedance is too low for operating directly on 12 volts (it would burn itself up).
i was suggesting this to be able to use 88+ TII injectors, which are bigger. But wasn't this one of your original Questions anyway? How about this, get it all done. Goto the dyno and have your car put on a wideband o2 ( after u get your exhaust) and then u can worry about needing to upgrade your injectors.

Yeah...you're right about making the exhaust change before working on injectors since it wouldn't be a real benefit until I get more air in as you said. By the way, there isn't many shops around here equipped with a Dyno for car but I'll manage to find one when the time will come.

About those 88+ TII injectors, what is their impedance and flow rate? They are low impedance and 680ccs, right?

Thanks

they 88+ are high impedance and TII are like 550cc's

I finally remove my cat today, I've been wondering if it was because of that it was lacking power so I replaced it with a pipe for the moment. It now pulls harder 'til it get about 5000rpm then the power stops increasing and at about 6000rpm there's a drop of power. I then wired the 6-port opened to be sure it was this. There's also a popping noise (like a backfire) when shifting but could be normal.

Fuel pressure was good a few years ago, but doesn't mean the fuel flow is right or the pressure still ok, right? So that's the next step. I want to read the pressure while running on the road and asking for power to see if the pressure is dropping at high power, does it seem a logical step?

Where is the best place to buy RB systems online (for price and service)?

???

hmm. my car pulled a lot harder from 4-7 1/2 with my cats gone. My car backfires too when i shift at high rpms, rotaries just do it, don't worry about it, unless they are huge! and u'll notice them when u free up your exhuast. Sounds like a good idea to test your fuel pressure. Racing Beat.com
