ok, i cruising around in town , in 4th gear, push on the brake pedals and the pedal goes clear to the floor, no brakes and a big lexus in front of me i downshift into second and pull the e-brake( thank god someone inveted them) i stopped about a foot away from the lexus, i babyied it home and inspected the brakes, on the front passenger side someone cross theaded the brake line into the caliper and it decided today it would spray out every where, my question is, should i buy a new caliper because the threads are way to fucked up or can i tap in out to a bigger size? i cant believe someone would be so careless and let something like this go **** i could be dead or something, o well <_< thanks for the help. piece

yep, get a new caliper....they were around $80 reman. when I last checked.......tapping is the cheap solution and you could make a fitting that would allow you to use the current lines and just plug them in the fitting.....
