Ok this will be a long post-but tell me what you think, last summer i had some crazy brake issues the front kept squelling 4 times louder than anything i have ever heard.when they got hot they would go crazy.I changed the pads, didnt help, changed the rotors didnt help,my friend said the front was glazing the hell out of the rotors ,we changed the pads again, and did the samething it would keep going from one wheel to the other on the front(the noise)ear peircing.I checked the back brakes they were fine, worked perfect.my next step,i changed the calipers and the brake hoses.still same thing.next i changed the proportioning valve hoping it was bad--nope.this all started out becuase one of my calipers locked up.now after all this time and work still no solution.no mechanic had an answer what it could be and they all said that it was the loudest damn thing they ever heard.Last thing i could figure, the rotors i got were bad, changed them out with some bendex and put semi metallic pads on her.Yes---it worked perfect.--for all the summer--untill the end,my pedal is allmost to the floor again and the damn noise is back---any ideas?--what the hell could this be.its been shimed, its been lubricated, its all been done.Im going to put some crossdrilled/sloted rotors on it this year, hopfully the crossdrilled will keep them cool and the slots will keep them from glazing up.what do you guys think?

You said your pedal went to the floor... and you've replaced just about everything including the brake lines? Are your brake lines leaking onto the rotors or calipers/pads? I know I'm reaching here but it sounds like you've done it all.... So the pads ARE glazing everytime this squeal starts or is the anti-squeal just wearing off the back of the pads?

no the pads still keep the squeal crap on,when i say the pedal goes to the floor i meant,it does now almost, everything was fine but now she almost goes to the floor and that damn noise is back.i have no leaks.Could the master cylinder cause the calipers to overheat, maybe causing the brakes to overheat.

When you are ready to buy rotors, I sell some Brembo cross-drilled/slotted/dadmium plated rotors for $289 for a set of 4.
