the "hit it with a hammer" thing works better on a lift, you get a better hit that way, doing it in your driveway a good hammer swing is hard to get.

Mine had them on the front my freinds didnt, on his we used the lug wrench and pryed behind it and they popped right off.

gotta be careful with that hub when you start prying things.

i took them to a machine shop and they had to use the same thing cheers descirbed 24 ton press to get them out. Now i get to see what condition the back ones are in.
