if i have a "charge relief valve" do i even need a BOV?

$200-300 is a lot for a cool sound.

You dont "need" a bov. The only time you will need a aftermarket bov is when you are running a bigger turbo. If your staying with the stock one, you should be fine with the stock relief valve.

ok, so i have determined that i dont need a new BOV and the stock bypass valve will suffice. however, i do like the intimidating sound of an ungraded BOV, any way i can make mine louder, possibly have it discharge into the air and not the intake pipe, and still be just as functional and reliable?

someone suggested turning it around, but someone else mentioned this would cause a leak.
