let me bring up a point here, so is it better to part that car

out and have one less FC on the road, or is it better to do a V8 swap

to it?

I may part it out to a shell and dump a V8 in it, not sure, 350 w/ powerglide its all up in the air right now, I have an 86 base now that I will be selling the motor and trans, and this one o will be selling the motor and trans, so anything is possible

I concur 100%

one day a rotory may live under the hood once again, but once a FC is parted

and scrapped, its gone forever

Is it better to have two crap FC's or one nice one? Two super ghettofied FC's or one nice car? Sometimes they have to be sacrificed for the greater good.

I look at it more this way, I rescued this car from a field, it was going to end up a rusted pile of scrap sooner or later. if I can part this out and keep fellow FC owners in decent parts for a good price, there is no foul. As most of us know there are not too many FC's in the junkyards anymore, and finding used parts is getting harder and harder each day. The motor was worth the purchase price in my eyes, and it may find its way into someone elses ride who does not have the funds for a rebuild. So even though it is one less FC on the road, it may save the lives of many more FC's, think of it as an organ donor

It has some rough spots, the funding to put it back in shape to make it roadworth outweighs the value of the car if I were to sell it.
