Boost guage doesn't work?

Ok i asked this before i think but i have shitty idle, and the hot start condition (won't start when hot). I think that is just low compression, but could my boost sensor be shot

if i don't get anything on the gauge? If so how much does that sensor go for, and HOW CAN I TEST IT TO MAKE SURE???

PLEASE HELP!!

You'll need both a vacuum pump and a multimeter to check it out. The procedure is in the factory manual, which cn be found at http://www.fc3s.org .
