I gotta believe it's stock. It's good heavy ****, and it's well rusted, but still serviceable. I'll post the pic in a couple hours.

Here's the pic. I put it up and it fits the turbo fine, but the end sticks past the mount where it ties to the tranny. I'd say it's two inches too long.
Sorry for the big pic. I forgot to shrink it. |
that is the same thing as my old one. it should bolt up if not. make a midpipe https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Okay, one more little problem with this dp. With the O2 sensor screwed into the bung, this pipe won't quite bolt up. The flippin' sensor hits the vacuum actuator for what appears to be the EGR? I'm not sure its the EGR, but its right there above the turbo exhaust outlet. I wasn't going to do away with the EGR at this point. Is it easily removed? Is there an O2 sensor out there that isn't quite as tall as the Bosch?
I looked at the stock precat, and it has the threaded hole for the sensor set at a slight angle to avoid the conflict. I thought this thing was supposed to bolt up? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif Any suggestions? |
it bolted up on my 87 TII..... your car is weird what can i say

Must be! There seems to be a small heat shield around this vacuum motor. It might clear if I yank that off.
