Has anyone used a 'stop-leak' to fix this?...even if its only temporary?

Whay about something similar to the ATF trick but with something else?

i thought if the pressure cap wasn't working right it would boil quicker.

I drilled a small hole near the side of the thermostat to simulate the jiggle-pin of the mazda thermostat and this seems to work much better at allowing excess pressure to escape without letting coolant escape as much. But... it seems that I'm getting excess pressure into my cooling system which means some kind of coolant seal leak.

Does anyone know of any additives etc. that might help seal this without having to rebuild the engine?
