Blow Off Valve Not Blowing Off

ok so my hks ssqv BOV today decided to simply stop dumping it's boost.



WTF, anything that can cause this? i was considering upgrading to the RFL BOV anyway but this just pisses me off.

vacuum line is broken or you dropped a bolt or something inside it

discovered the problem the rubber "bellows" inside somehow tore more of a reason to go buy a new bov anyway.



im repairing this bov right now to at least work with some light driving hopefully.

i fixed it, guess it sbeen broken for a while cause it sounds better now then it ever did.



but im still thinking of getting a different one.



anyone wanna give me $50 for this hks ssqv considering it's like a remanned bov now.

Im getting the RFL this week. Sounds great, and holds 34 PSI on TurboXS's wrx just fine.

ok my hks repair status:



repaired, and it works properly, i think. it just makes absolutely no sound now so it freaks me out.



boost dumps just as fast as it used to just now its on mute or something.



oh well, ive got to go BOV shopping, recommendations?

The Greddy Type-S sounds great. I've got a dual BOV setup going on now and one sounded awesome, so hopefullly two should sound better

A few of my friends had/have the RFL.. they sound good no hiding it actually made and old lady jump once with it.
